We were seated on the deck per our request because we had a dog. Nice deck seating, very pleasant wait staff, attentive and made us feel so welcomed. Huge whiskey selection, nice beer selection. Food was very good, reasonable pricing. Not at all disappointed. Will return! We dined for lunch hour on a Sunday, about 1:00 ish.

After many trips from Central Illinois to Door County (five this year alone) we finally made it to Mink River Basin. Over a nine day stay this time we ate lunch there three times. The food is great, wide variety of choices, atmosphere is relaxing and homey, and the servers are like family members. It was extra handy for us this time as we stayed in Gills Rock, but we'll be back every time we come up, no matter where we stay. I'd give it more than five stars if that were permitted.

Hands down the best burgers! Juicy and melts in your mouth!

The fish here is excellent! The staff very friendly and helpful. Now this is an old fashion Wisconsin bar. I had a blast!

The Pit Boss is the best sandwich in the county, but the au jus that comes with it is way too salty and I never can enjoy it even though I have ordered this sandwich many times.
